
Share and create your signature look that's completely yours inspired by Clinique's Fashion show.
The challenge
"Be Inspired by Clinique" needed to translate the energy of a Clinique fashion show into an interactive Facebook experience where users could compose and share a signature look. The design had to feel editorial and aspirational while remaining simple enough for a casual social audience to navigate. The brand's clean, clinical aesthetic left little room for clutter, so every interaction needed to earn its place on screen.
Our approach
We built the interface around Clinique's signature restraint: generous white space, a calm palette, and product imagery treated as the visual focus. The look-builder was structured as a guided sequence so that creating a personal look felt effortless rather than technical, with clear states for selecting, previewing, and sharing. Typography and layout borrowed from the brand's print and counter materials to keep the experience continuous with the wider fashion-show campaign. Sharing was designed as a natural endpoint, framing each finished look as something worth posting to a user's own feed.
The outcome
The app gave Clinique a polished, on-brand social touchpoint that let users participate in the campaign rather than simply view it. The interface held to the brand's clean standard while making personalization approachable, turning the fashion-show concept into something a social audience could create with and pass along.
