MbeddedWorks is a design studio based in Carmona, Cavite, in the Philippines. We help brands look like themselves — across the web, in print, on apparel, and everywhere their audience meets them.
We've spent more than a decade making design that earns its place — sharp identities, fast websites, and print that holds up in the hand, all to a professional standard.
MbeddedWorks began as a personal practice and grew into a studio through one project at a time. Over the years that has meant social campaigns and Facebook applications for brands like Clinique, Gap, and Nestlé; a refreshed social identity for the century-old Manila Hotel; product catalogs and profiles for skincare brands; a weather app interface built around official forecast data; and personal pieces as intimate as a wedding invitation for family.
The range is wide on purpose. What stays constant is the approach: understand the brief behind the brief, design a system rather than a one-off, and sweat the details that most people feel but never name.

Type treated as the subject, not the afterthought — from scripture and words of wisdom to display lettering, composed so the message and the design are the same thing.

Emcel Leongson
Founder · Designer
MbeddedWorks is led by Emcel Leongson, a creative designer with over ten years in graphic design and branding and seven in web design. The toolkit runs across Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and hand-written HTML, CSS, and SCSS — but the tools matter less than the habit of seeing a project through from the first rough idea to the final, usable files.
The work is also guided by faith. "Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans" — Proverbs 16:3 — is a line that shapes how the studio approaches both the craft and the people it serves. You can see more of Emcel's personal work and background on the personal portfolio.
