2 pages simple and beautiful wedding invitations made for my brother Daniel and Jenny the bride with photo insert.
The challenge
This was a personal commission: a wedding invitation for Daniel, the designer's brother, and his bride Jenny. The brief called for something simple and elegant, a two-page invitation with a photo insert that felt warm and personal without becoming fussy. As a piece for family, it carried a quiet pressure to get the tone exactly right, refined enough for the occasion yet genuinely heartfelt.
Our approach
We kept the design restrained and graceful, letting careful typography and generous spacing do the work rather than heavy ornament. The two-page format was structured so the essential details read clearly and the photo insert sat naturally as the emotional center of the piece. A soft, considered palette and clean layout gave it a timeless feel suited to the day. Knowing it was for family, every choice leaned toward warmth and sincerity over decoration.
The outcome
The finished invitation was a simple, elegant piece that suited the occasion and the couple. Clean typography and a well-placed photo insert gave it warmth without excess, and as a personal commission for family it carried a sincerity that a more formal brief might not have asked for.
